The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:


·         4-year degree in Engineering, Science or Business (or equivalent)

·         15+ years of diversified experience, primarily in a business development capacity

·         5+ years of experience in a consulting business

·         Successful track record of client engagement and winning work within Parsons’ targeted client base/market sectors, including the Canadian mining sector

·         Strong passion for building business within Parsons’ target area

·         Strong client relationships and ability to interface at all levels within client organizations

·         Strengths in critical thinking demonstrated by opportunity identification, pre-positioning, proposal development, pricing, contract negotiations, closing sales and transitioning new wins into operations

·         Strong organizational skills, with ability to manage and prioritize several assignments simultaneously.

·         Energetic self-starter with ability to prioritize

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Excellent English communication skills are essential (written, verbal, and presentation)

·         Proficient Microsoft Office computer skills
